INDUSTRY ACADEME PARTNERSHIP FORUM

On April 2, 2018, Metro Dumaguete College (MDC)  in partnership with TESDA hosted an industry-academe partnership forum held at MDC conference room.  Various stakeholders representing the Information and Communications Technology, the BPOs, the Media, Digital Business Industry, Tourism and travel and banking sectors attended the said consultation.

One of the highlights discussed was the enhanced curriculum of MDC’s bachelor’s degree programs of Computer Science and Information Technology and Tourism imbedding the TESDA 3-year diploma courses namely Software Engineering Technology and Digital Arts Technology and Tourism Technology. This is the mandate of the government specifically CHED and TESDA given to MDC as pilot implementer of the 3 year diploma courses.
